This and That
Well lately school has been going pretty fast. We have only 5 more days till exams. Only 10 days left of school until we are done. That is all we have left!!!! We write these exams at the end of the year and in the middle. If we have a 80% or over you don’t have to write it.But that only counts for the end of the year exams. Everyone has to write the middle years ones no matter what mark you have. Which is good which gives you a extra day off of school. After may long weekend time flys. So really we don’t have much time left for this year. I am passing everything which is good. This year has been pretty good. I will have Mr.Fisher again next year because we have split classes until you get to grade 9 but i am in grade 7 this year. So that is a update of what i am doing and thinking. Bye for now.
My Weekend!
This weekend was pretty fun. We had a raffle at the school for rockband and we won so we went home and a bunch of us played it was hard at first but once you get the hang of it its fun. My favourite part is the drums. We played till 2;00 in the morning. After that some of us played playstation. Then we went to bed. The next day we all got up and showered. Then we went to the car show and then we went out for supper.Later that night we rented a movie and people slept over again. We rented Juno it was really funny. We stayed up played some more rock band and then went to bed. On Sunday a bunch of people came over and we had a barbeque. That was my weekend.

This and That
Hey it’s just me. Well this weekend i didn’t do to much we had a long weekend we had Monday off so that was good. I baby satt and helped out my aunt this weekend. I watched some movies and didnt do to much on Monday because i didn’t feel to well. But other wise my weekend was pretty fun. I talked to my dad this weekend for a while trying to figure out when we are going back forsure. We are gone for about a month to visit him in NewFoundLand. I think it will be pretty fun because i get to see alot of family when i am there. But when i am there i will be hanging out with my cousin Chelsea she is 2 years older than me and she came up last summer and stayed with me.It was fun. She doesn’t live very far away from my dad a couple streets away. So i will be with her lots. So thats what i did and figured out this weekend.
What i know to be true…
Here are some things i know to be true.
Is in life everyone goes through rough times no ones life is perfect. Everyone has ups and downs.You cant ever be perfect. When your with friends at school or just out you may seem like nothings wrong. You need people to trust or people to rely on when something goes wrong.
Truth is way harder to take then a lie. For example you may say something about somebody and lie about it but when you tell them the truth its going to hurt more.But when you know the truth its easier to trust people.
When i was in about grade 2 my parents got divorced it made me feel unhappy for the longest while but it was ok because my dad still lived here in Snow Lake. But after when my dad moved to another province it made me even more upset and i was going through a pretty rough time as it was. I am with my mom for the school years and with my dad for the summer when we have holidays. It doesn’t seem like i get to see him very long it goes fast. But to see him is good enough for me. I have been pressured to do things before and end up getting blamed.
For alot of people teenage years are the worst for going through rough times. i think if you love some body enough you would tell the truth to them all the time. If not it would make things worse. If you are in relationship lying is very unhealthy for it. Telling the truth some times hurts more but then you know forsure.
Well thats what truth is to me

Welcome…To my Blog
Hello my name is Taylor. I live in Snow Lake Manitoba. It isnt that big of a place just a small little town pretty where in the middle of no where. I go to school here at Joseph H. Kerr. Its our only school here in town.I am 12 years old. I have 2 sisters named Ashley and Cassidy. My two best friends are in my class Paige and Hannah. We have things we can do here all year around. I am usually in sports. I was in Floor Hockey, Volleyball , Basketball and Curling. My Favorite subject in school is Science. Well there are some things about me.
What do i want to know?
Well there is many things students want like the latest technology. But in this post i will be explaining how ideas change.
The biggest question i have is why do ideas change as you get older to younger? Why do people change the way they act?. Now i kinda know the answer to them but i dont know forsure and it makes me wonder. Yeah ideas change because you need different needs but why do they have to act different?
I want to know if anyone can act the same age as they were 5 years ago.? Like when you are 15 and change to 20 your are a way different person than you were before.
I dont think that i am learning why does this happen why do people go in to high school best friends and never see any one again. Why does this happen. Why do peoples lives change.Where do they go what do they do? Thats my question to you.
Important things in life
The things Parents do for their kids are a everyday routine. You dont realize what they do for you until they ask you this question.
The most important thing a parent can do for a teenager is give them there freedom. Let them be alone some times. Help them out when they need it and give you money. Your parents are there to help you through life.
I think a parent that helps there kid through rough times.That makes beliefs for their children and has a personality. Is part of what makes a good parent. I think a parent that knows when to give there kid freedom. When to care and when to help out.
For Parents to make their children sucessful i think they need to teach discipline and set good examples in life. To teach them what they need to know.
What i learned
Poverty everyone thinks why don’t you get a job its not as easy as you think! To me i learned that this is a big world wide issue. The levels seek every now and then either up or down. But theres no way i can stop it alone i can try but with more the better. I learned that with poverty they dont get safe drinking water no safe homes no way to be helped when they are sick no medication no stores no nothing. We live in a small town but we have everything we need. We have food,safe water,homes,and hardly no crime. We take everything like that for granted. We dont care about our water ou houses or that we have a safe town. Kids in Poverty would love to live how we are living right now this is there dream to be like us. After all that being said i would like you to think what we have . What we take for granted. Out of this whole experience i learned the that Canada has the most population of Poverty. I learned the things they are trying to do to stop it, The things that are working the things that are not working. To me i learned if everyone helped support this issue it would become less and ess and then it could be gone.
I learned through out this whole experience that we have everything we need. But they have nothing. They all wish they could have what we have. That made me think? Why i chose this topic and i remembered to help kids less fourtanate than us.
Research
For my ted talks i got information from a few places. I got it from Google. technorati and wikipedia and You tube. I learned how to use all these a while ago but they tought me lots aboutmy topic. They told my why it was happening and how they are trying to stop it. If it wasn’t for these places i wouldn’t know what is going on. It made me think of why didn’t i know about this before that is the good thing about the internet it keeps you thinking what ?how does this happen?. For my Research i did Poverty i didn’t know what it was until i thought of using the internet. It helped me for my research to learn other wise i wouldn’t of found all the information i needed. For my research i used the internet to find it with out the internet i wouldn’t of found what i needed. I would like to say with out the internet no 1 would find everything they need. Thats how i found my research.
What do i know about culture?
I know i am French and Irish. With a culture it is made up of many different things.What you eat. Your language, and traditions you have. We are normal Canadians we have little bit of tradition in our family but not to much.
A couple of things i would keep about my my life would be that Every holiday we have a special meal then a regular day meal. We Celebrate Christmas , Halloween, Valentines Day, St.Patrick’s day and April Fools. In other places they wont celebrate this. We have very many different things to celebrate. In Canada we celebrate July 1st in other places it’s July 4 th. Thats one tradition we have and other don’t.
Culture to me is something you celebrate each year and believe in and what you do as a family. The elemnts that are combined together to make a culture is your language, the food you eat, the way you act. Can a culture be boxed why sure it can. You can always remember that in your culture the foods you eat and they way they spoke and the way you acted. In my culture i value being able to celebrate all these things with family and friends. I like how you can believe in these things with out being judged. If i could save things from my culture it would be the Holidays Language and Food. I think that shows how i am by how i eat talk and act.
